December Competition - Now Closed

A big well done to Aisling Dunne - who sent in a fab Christmas Story and is this months winner. Aisling wins a great Rhinegold Long Boot Bag. Everyone else who entered has been contacted as we do have a little something to send out to each entry as a thank you for taking the time to send stories and photos.

Aislings story:

Last year, a week before christmas i was watching a movie with my younger sister by the fire when i heard a car pulling up outside. I looked out the window and i saw, to my suprise a horse box outside the front door i called my mam with utter excitement and she came down the stairs "its just thenew table for the dining room..come out and help us bring it in." To say the least i was totally gutted but proceeded to go out and help her. As i reached the front door i heard an enormous "nneeiigghhh!" coming from the box and my Dad was standing there "Happy Christmas". I was over the moon, it was the most memorable christmas ever. Cindy is the name ofmy horse and if she could sit down with you she would, abouta weekago i walked into the kitchen and there she was with her head in the window watching my Dad cooking the breakfast. The good times just havn't stopped since i got her last year!

Our december competition for this month is a little different! This month we would like any Christmas stories OR Christmas pictures about you or your equine! As long as they have a Christmas and horsy theme.The story could be about a pony you were given as a Christmas present, a tale about a Christmas ride, a New years Day Hunt, or it could be pictures that show your horse in a santa costume! We have have a gift for all who enter and a main prize for the winner. (long rhiengold boot bag)
