Impact and shock absorption are even more important in the area of the horses back where often problems occur. Having successfully stabilized this material, Gel-Eze have been able to perforate th pads, allowing air flow to reduce the over-heating that similar products generate. With a thickness of only 5mm and the perforations, we have also reduced the overall weight, in some cases to more than half of the other pads. The use of the Gel-Eze pad also protects areas where damage could be caused by ill-fitting saddles, allowing air-flow to help the regeneration of new tissue to already affected areas. The use of the pad in direct contact with the saddle also offers superb non-slip qualities. If required, the pad can be cut to fit smaller sizes of saddle.
